Oncology Rehabilitation Program
Treatment And Recovery
The Oncology Rehabilitation Program
at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital provides a full range of rehabilitative services aimed at meeting the multi-faceted
medical, psychological, and functional needs of individuals with cancer-related disabilities.
In order to best meet the needs of our patients, the rehabilitation treatment team needs to know the patient’s
prognosis, as well as ongoing or future treatment plans. We will begin by discussing the
patient’s and family’s expectations for rehabilitation, and from there, design an individualized plan of care.
Rehabilitation is appropriate for patients who are medically stable and who can tolerate 3 hours of
therapy each day.
