Cognitive NeuroRehabilitation Services (NRS)

We offer a well managed, coordinated delivery of services. Our community based model allows for flexible, creative "real world" experiences to address the many needs of our clients. Knowledge about our clients personal goals for work / school, life style and daily activities are incorporated into the treatment we provide. As a "resource connector" we also link clients to the variety of services available out in the community. Individuals with varying degrees of brain injuries often have difficulty relating the skills they have learned in a clinical setting to everyday living. Our NRS offer professional intervention that help provide a smoother transition back to the community.

Our program is staffed by Neurologists, Neuropsychologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, and Occupational Therapists. Staff provides coordinated case management for each client involved in NRS. These trained and experienced professionals pursue an interdisciplinary approach to treatment in order to maximize the individual's re-integration into the community in which he or she lives. Families are encouraged to become involved in the rehabilitation process. Team meetings with family members facilitate communication among the staff, the client and those closest to the client, thereby making a significant contribution to his or her rehabilitation.
