Recovery after a neurologic injury can feel like a journey with an unclear path. Often patients are not aware of the services available to them to maximize their recovery throughout the continuum of care. The Neurorehabilitation Clinic at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital was established to focus on the continuum of care as it relates to a person's function. Our multidisciplinary team is a group of dedicated healthcare professionals, consisting of physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and Orthotists, who specialize in and understand the complexity of neurological disorders. In collaboration with your community medical providers, our goal is to create and assist you in creating a road map for a comprehensive rehabilitation plan with an emphasis on achieving functional independence.

Our multidisciplinary team consists of a board-certified physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, a physical and/or occupational therapist, and an Orthotist/Prosthetist.

Meet our Clinic Director in Braintree

Zachary W. Bohart, MD, MS
Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Zachary W. Bohart received his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed his internship in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital. He fulfilled his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The University of Washington Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Bohart's primary interests consist of treating musculoskeletal pain conditions, such as shoulder pain, which commonly develop after stroke or brain injury, as well as electrodiagnostics and comprehensive spasticity management. He is leading the development of ultrasound guided procedures at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital which may lead to improved patient safety, greater comfort, and improved outcomes.
